The Steering Committee of Monash Partners AHSC have identified seven Themes in the first wave of development of the Academic Health Science Centre (AHSC).
The newly endorsed themes are:
- Integrated Program in Cancer and Blood Diseases (contact person: Prof Neil Watkins)
- Cardiovascular: innovation, intervention, imaging and care (contact person: Prof Ian Meredith)
- Critical Care, Trauma and Perioperative Medicine (contact person: Prof Jamie Cooper)
- Infection and Inflammation (contact person: Prof Sharon Lewin)
- Neuroscience and Mental Health (contact person: Prof David Clarke)
- Women's, Children's and Reproductive Health (contact person: Prof Euan Wallace)
- Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolic Health
The next steps will be the identification of the Theme and Discipline Leaders so that the AHSC Executive Committee can be formed.
